Our chalet also has a hot tub, grill, game room, and more. At the base of Pikes Peak Highway, this cabin offers the classic Colorado experience. This is a perfect spot to unwind after a day enjoying everything the area has to offer like Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, or Pike's Peak.

The property

Our cabin features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with many conveniences and amenities to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

As you enter the front door, you'll find a cozy and stylish bedroom ahead of you. The large, open kitchen and living room area has plenty of space and seating for everyone to gather for meals, board games, and more. A bathroom with a shower is located off the kitchen. Immediately off the back deck is an outdoor dining area with a charcoal grill. The garage has been converted to a game room, complete with a ping pong table, arcade basketball, darts, ring toss and more. There's something for everyone in here to enjoy!

Upstairs, a large bathroom has a jacuzzi with views up the mountain slope is the perfect place to unwind after a long day exploring the area. A second bedroom is located down the hall to the right, featuring a bunk bed that can sleep up to three and woodsy wallpaper vibes. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, with a deck and seating immediately off the back entrance. To the left of the deck is where the hot tub can be located. A laundry room is also located on the upper floor with a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Our cabin is a perfect spot for exploring the surrounding area with family and friends. Given the quiet neighborhood and many permanent residents who call this area home, our place is not suitable for parties, loud gatherings or other events.

There is no air conditioner in our cabin, which is common for the area. Typically, the weather is pleasant even in the summer months with cool breezes.

Guest access

Our cabin is located in a residential community, with a blend of permanent residents who call this area home and other vacation rental cabins. Located close to U.S. Route 24, the home is generally easy to access outside of winter snowstorms. Especially during winter months, it is required to have a 4WD vehicle when traveling to the home and to access the steep driveway. Our home has room for up to three cars to park. You're nearby many publicly accessible opportunities to hike near Pikes Peak, Woodland Park, Green Mountain Falls, Cascade and Colorado Springs.

Other things to note

Wildlife is abundant in the area around the cabin. You may see deer, elk, bear, coyotes, bugs and more. While it's beautiful scenery, please keep your distance from any animals you encounter. Colorado weather can range significantly. While often lovely, the area is prone to harsher weather with storms and wind, and can receive heavy snowfall during winter months.

Cell phone reception in the area varies by carrier. The cabin wifi signal is strong and can accommodate house guests and streaming devices.

Bear-proof trash bins are located near the driveway for your convenience. For safety purposes, please ensure all trash is put in the bins and properly secured. Trash left outside will be accessed by wildlife, and may cause damage or spread debris as a result.

Please be respectful of neighbors with noise levels. Immediately behind the back deck off the kitchen is where the neighbors property line begins, so please be mindful of not inadvertently trespassing. The larger deck off the master bedroom has more room to accommodate everyone to enjoy the outdoors together.

No smoking or vaping indoors (please clean up debris if smoking outdoors and use extra precaution due to forest fires).
